Location:
Pamporovo ski resort is situated 1650 m above sea level, at the foot of peak Snejanka (1926 m), in the Rhodopes Mountain. It is located in a region known for its unique folklore traditions and is located 260 km from Sofia and 85 km from Bulgaria’s second largest city Plovdiv. It is a beautiful Bulgarian mountain resort with wonderful snow throughout the whole season. The specific combination of natural conditions makes the resort beautiful in winter as well as in summer.
Climate: Pamporovo has an exclusive climate featuring mild winters with about 120 sunny days during the skiing period. The skiing season covers December to mid - April. The average air temperature during season is minus 3 °C.
Sightseeing:
Pamporovo offers wonderful skiing opportunies, lots of snow and sun, luxury comfort in high-class hotels in the original Rhodopa style, various entertainments and varied nightlife entertainments.
We recommend a day trip to Plovdiv or the nearby town of Smolyan and Bachkovo Monastery. A walk with a sledge dog- Siberian husky is also available during the season. |
